Outer plumage from ducks and geese, used as fill material alongside or instead of down. Heavier and less insulating than pure down, but more affordable and structurally supportive.

Origin & Production

Sourced from duck and goose farming, primarily in China, and Eastern Europe. Feathers are cleaned, sanitised, and sorted. Often blended with down (e.g. 80/20 down-feather fill).

Sustainability

Washing

Machine wash on delicate at 30 °C with mild detergent.

Drying

Tumble dry low with tennis balls to prevent clumping.

Ironing

Never iron feather-filled items.
